News

Nancy Bostock is a consultant paediatrician at Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust. She has extensive experience in children’s inpatient mental health, with expertise in how childhood experiences intersect with neurodevelopmental differences and how that translates to a child’s mental health and behaviour, within their family context. She has worked with many children and young people, and their families, with difficulties eating for a wide range of reasons.
Bostock is also involved in designing Cambridge Children’s Hospital, the first specialist children’s hospital for the East of England, aimed at fully integrating physical and mental healthcare, alongside research. She is particularly involved in considering how food in the hospital can be approached in a way that maintains normality for young people and their families, while aiding recovery.
