Frozen for the future

Robert Ettinger, founder of the cryonics movement, has become a human popsicle himself after dying on 23 July, aged 92. Ettinger joins his mother and first and second wives in liquid nitrogen at his Cryonics Institute in Clinton Township, Michigan, in the hope that one day doctors will have the technology – and inclination – to revive them.
