A levy on science fiction is the way to solve NASA’s budget crisis. So says Michael Williams, a Republican running in Huntsville, Alabama, for a seat in the US Congress, who wants NASA’s entire funding to come from a 1 per cent tax on all merchandise relating to sci-fi or space, such as books, comics, toys and games.
