Fancy changing your friend into an alien? Or starring in your own pop video?
To live out such fantasies, visit the show Megafun with Computers at this year’s
Edinburgh Science Festival, which runs from now until 16 April. Megafun is “an
extraordinary computer playground”, say the organisers, which arrives fresh from
a blockbuster tour of Australia. And on 14 April, film buffs can see one-minute
films made with hand-cranked cameras dating back 100 years by 39 contemporary
directors—including Peter Greenaway, Spike Lee and David Lynch. Further
details of the festival are available from The Edinburgh International Science
Festival, on: (++131) 220 3977, or: esf@scifest.demon.co.uk
