Soon, probably, thanks to terabyte chips (see “Tomorrow’s memory technologies today”). Today, an encyclopaedia writ small won’t be high on most people’s wish list, but even mp3 addicts might struggle to fill a chip that has room for hundreds of thousands of songs.
