The worst part of any plane journey is trying to spot your luggage on a crowded carousel in the arrivals terminal. Joan Monck of New Jersey has a neat idea for making it easier (US 2004/0130447). A new type of suitcase will have a row of battery-powered LEDs embedded all around it that flash when switched on by a wireless trigger signal from a Bluetooth cellphone. Or, if you can stand the embarrassment, a recorded ditty sings out your name.
