Worried by unsightly scraps of food left on your face after dinner?
Phillip Turner of Manchester has the answer. His simple solution (British
patent application 2 266 236) is to attach a small disc mirror to the corner
of a handkerchief or serviette. The mirror is made like a press stud, in
two halves, and clips onto the corner of any piece of cloth. At the end
of the meal, diners just look discreetly into their handkerchiefs or serviettes
to check for errant morsels.
